What is the purpose of geocaching?
I tried to find one once, but I found jack squat. All you geocache pros (or whatever you call yourselves) What are some tips (preferable all tips lol) when looking for these geo caches? It sounds fun but I lost interest when I couldn’t find the first one I was looking for. Oh by the way, I have a Garmin Nuvi 205. Is is possible to find them with this model?
geocaching is like a GPS powered scavenger hunt
when you plug in the GPS coordinates you head to the cache location
but these caches are not in the open they’re concealed in logs, under stumps, behind a bush, or even under a rock so you have to be part hide and seek too
once you find the cache you take 1 item out and replace it with some other item then restash the cache where you found it then enter a new geo location and continue your hunt
